What is graphics, what is graphic art? In short this is the art discipline that is based upon reproducing of an image, so it can be repeated. So we can make many prints from woodcut-blocks, copper/zinc/steel plates or lithographic-stones… Also we can print art works using off-set printers, stencils, silk-screens (serigraphy) and also digital printers… There are many ways to reproduce original image and this reproduction may be still considered as an art piece. Here I added a section ‘cartoon, comix, illustration’. According to me cartoon art, illustration are sub-disciplines of graphics / graphic art.
